Rev. Elizabeth O'Shaughnessy Banks is a life-long Unitarian Universalist
originally from Duxbury, Massachusetts. Prior to her work as a minister in our
denomination, she taught English as a Second Language to political refugees who
had relocated to Spokane, Washington.
Her work with English as a Second Language and cultural studies took her to
South Korea for two and a half years, where she taught college level English
conversation.
She served for two years as an Interim Minister for Religious Education at the
First Unitarian Church of Rochester. For nine years she was the Parish Minister
at the First Universalist Church in Rochester New York, and served as a campus
chaplain at the Eastman School of Music.
Rev. Beth Banks has been the Parish Minister at the Unitarian Universalist
Church of Davis since August, 2000.
